• I have been in your shoes and I totally understand this fear! While therapy can be uncomfortable, I firmly believe that reaching out for help is a display of strength, not weakness. It it not lost on me that it takes courage to let someone into your inner circle and the vulnerable parts of your life. The right therapist will take the time to build rapport, trust, and safety before diving in to exploring deeper topics. With me, you are in the driver’s seat in your therapy. I will be there as a helpful guide, using my expertise and clinical skills to collaborate with you to make a roadmap along the way.

  • Yes! I provide free 15 minute calls to learn a little bit more about you beforehand and see if we are a good fit. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions about my approach on therapy as well. I would love to meet you!

  • Thanks for asking—that’s a really important question. Unfortunately, insurance companies set reimbursement rates that are often too low for me to maintain a sustainable practice while still being able to provide the quality of care my clients deserve. By staying out-of-network, I can really focus on offering you the best possible support without the limitations that come with insurance requirements. I personally do not feel comfortable giving a mandatory diagnosis in order for insurance to pay. I do not believe it is in the best interest of a client to justify why they could benefit from therapy.

  • A superbill is basically a detailed receipt for the services you’ve received. Since I’m not in-network with your insurance, I can give you a superbill you can submit to your insurance company. It has all the information they need to process your claim, and if they approve it, they’ll usually send you a reimbursement check directly. Just keep in mind, it doesn’t guarantee they’ll cover the full amount.

  • No! While clinical Christian counseling is a specialty of mine, I work with clients of many faith backgrounds and those who do not identify with a faith. Our work together is guided by your personal values and needs. Faith is included only when it feels meaningful and supportive to you.

  • You can reach me anytime via my contact page or by emailing me I aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.
